Versarien inks commercial agreement with PhoneDevil
Engineering group Versarien has entered into a commercial agreement with UK mobile accessory brand PhoneDevil to launch a new range of earphones and audio accessories featuring the firm's proprietary Nanene graphene nanoplatelets.
The agreement will see Versarien's Nanene products feature on all product packaging, with the group receiving royalties on each product sold online at MediaDevil.com, as well as those sold at other online retail platforms and high street retailers via MediaDevil's global distribution partners.
Neill Ricketts, chief executive of AIM-listed Versarien, said, "Utilising Nanene, MediaDevil will not only be able to supply product with significantly enhanced characteristics, but will be able to promote the advantages of using graphene through the presence of our premier graphene brand."
Callum Bush and Joe Tang, founders of MediaDevil, added: "We've been working on this ambitious project with Versarien for some time and have now reached our goal of incorporating Nanene into audio products, with results surpassing our expectations. We hope that this partnership will be one way to bring the phenomenal advances in technology that graphene allows to everyone's daily lives."
Versarien and PhoneDevil also revealed on Monday that the two companies were at an "advanced stage" of launching a range of mobile phone and tablet device accessories utilising Nanene.
As of 0835 BST, Versarien shares had grown 4.02% to 134.70p.
