ULS launches conveyancing service with Stelios' easyGroup
Online conveyancing platform provider ULS Technology announced the launch of a new conveyancing service developed for easyConveyance, part of the easyGroup, on Thursday.
The AIM-traded firm said easyConveyance was the latest addition to the bright orange easyGroup, with ULS creating and tailoring a unique technology platform based on its core eConveyancer system, through which easyConveyance customers could select their chosen solicitor to help them with conveyancing.
Customers could make the choice from a comprehensive and fully national selection of legal firms, and could select their preferred firm based on whether they personally wanted the lowest cost for the service, the best service rating attained by the firm, or proximity to where they lived or might want to meet the firm.
Under the arrangement, easyConveyance customers could also benefit from a seven-day-a-week support service, a no move no legal fee guarantee, and could also track the progress of their own conveyancing.
"I'm proud that ULS has been chosen to partner with easyConveyance," said ULS CEO Steve Goodall.
"Both ULS and easy share very similar values, so I feel that this constitutes a really good fit.
"At ULS, we all fully understand, value and appreciate what we need to do for easyConveyance customers and look forward to working with everyone to make this a resounding success for all concerned."
Goodall said the company currently had "a few parts" of the industry doing positive things to help the home moving process to move on and into a more seamless, technology based environment, with the government becoming increasingly interested in the area as well.
"I therefore see it as poignant and appropriate for the easyGroup to be making this move at this timely juncture."
Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou said tt was time for the home buying process to be brought into the 21st century.
"easyConveyance will provide the latest technology and innovation required to deliver a more transparent and accelerated solution to the home buying process in the UK," Stelios added.
