Energy storage and clean fuel company ITM Power announced on Monday that chief finance officer Andrew Allen will be elevated to the board as finance director with immediate effect.
The 36-year old has been a chartered accountant since 2007, is a director of property management firm Mistral (Kenwood Road) Management Company and has a background in auditing manufacturing SMEs based in South Yorkshire.

Allen has been at the AIM-traded company since 2011, when he joined as financial controller, before taking on the role of chief finance officer in 2015.

Roger Putnam, chairman of ITM Power, said: "We are delighted that Andy is joining ITM Power's Board. He has been an integral part of the management team in his position as CFO and his contribution in the period since he joined has been invaluable. We are today recognising his contribution with this appointment."

ITM Power has a team of over 70 employees and is focused on providing hydrogen solutions to alleviate the world's dependence on fossil fuels.

As of 1157 BST, ITM Power's shares were down 1.48% at 36.50p.
