Goals Soccer Centre adds former EE director to board
Football pitch operator Goals Soccer Centre on Tuesday appointed Jacqueline Ann Ronson as non-executive director with immediate effect.
The AIM-traded company said Ronson is currently the digital, CRM & insights director at EE, part of the BT Group plc, has previously held senior roles at Barclays, Close Brothers and Prudential, and served as a non-executive director at Radian Group Ltd for seven years.
Michael Bolingbroke, interim chairman of Goals Soccer Centre, said: "We are pleased to announce that Jackie is joining the board as Scott's replacement. Jackie is a talented, well respected senior executive who will bring extensive consumer-facing and technology experience to the role of non-executive director."
Bolingbroke said Ronson will use her experience in consumer-facing industries to shape the businesses investment-led modernisation strategy.
Alongside Ronson's appointment, the company announced that Scott Lloyd has notified the board of his resignation as Non-Executive Director with immediate effect in order to join the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) as chief executive.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Scott for his contribution and counsel during his time with Goals and I wish him every success in his full-time executive role at the LTA," said Bolingbroke.
As of 1254 BST, Goals Soccer Centre's shares were unchanged at 85.50p.
