Forex Outlook for the Week Ending November 25th

On Monday, United Kingdom reported its data on house price inflation while United States released its industry figure on existing home sales. In euro zone, official report on region’s current account was published. The Bank of Japan released minutes of is policy meeting held in November along with data on Japan’s trade balance. In Canada, official data on wholesale sales was released.

Today on Tuesday November 22nd, 2011, United Kingdom reported its official figure on public sector borrowing while US Federal Reserve released the minutes of its policy meeting held in November. Euro zone reported its data on consumer confidence while in Switzerland data on trade balance was published. In Canada, official data on retail sales was published.

On Wednesday November 23rd, 2011, in United Kingdom, Bank of England released minutes of its policy meeting held in November along with industry data on mortgage approvals. Reports on manufacturing and service sector growth will be published in euro zone while Germany and France will published their separate reports on both sectors. The euro zone will also release its data on industrial new orders on Wednesday.

In United States, several economic indicators will be released which include official report on durable goods orders, weekly report on initial jobless claims, data on crude oil inventories, data on personal income and personal spending and data on inflation expectations and consumer sentiment by University of Michigan.

In Australia, index of leading economic indicators will be published along with data on construction work done while in Japan markets will remain closed in observance of a national holiday. In New Zealand, official data on country’s trade balance will be released.

On Thursday, November 24th, 2011, United Kingdom reported its revised data on country’s economic growth for the 3rd quarter. Moreover, the country also reported its official data on industrial order expectations and data on business investment. In United States, markets will remain closed in observance of Thanksgiving holiday.  Germany will report its data on gross domestic product for the 3rd quarter. Moreover report on German business climate will be published by Ifo Institute of Economic Research.

On Friday, November 25th, 2011 official data on import prices will be released in Germany while Italy will report its official data on retail sales. Japan will report its official data on inflation.
