Forex Markets: Weekly Outlook
Major economic events that have significant affect on the forex and currencies market for the week ending November 18th, 2011 are as follows:
On Monday November 14th, 2011, euro zone reported its official data on the region’s industrial production. Switzerland also reported its data on producer price inflation on Monday.
On Tuesday, November 15th, 2011, United States reported its data on retail sales, producer price inflation, business inventories and manufacturing activity in New York State. In euro zone, data on region’s gross domestic product was reported which France and Germany reported their separate figures of GDP. Moreover, ZEW Center for Economic Research will publish a report on Germany’s and euro zone’s economic sentiment. In United Kingdom, official report on consumer price inflation was published.
Australia reported its official data on new vehicle sales while Reserve Bank of Australia released the minutes of its latest monetary policy meeting held in November.
On Wednesday, November 16th, 2011, report on consumer inflation, industrial production, capacity utilization rate and crude oil inventories will be released in United States. Moreover, the country will also report its data on balance of foreign and domestic investment in long term securities.
In United Kingdom, official report on claimant count change and unemployment rate will be published. Moreover Bank of England will release its quarterly inflation report. In euro zone, official data on consumer price inflation is expected on Wednesday.
In Australia, index of leading economic indicators will be released along with data on wage costs. In Japan, the central bank will release its benchmark interest rate.
On Thursday November 17th, 2011, several reports will published in United States which will include weekly data on jobless claims, data on building permits and manufacturing activity in Philadelphia. In United Kingdom, official report on retail sales will be published.
Bank of Japan is to release its monthly report on country’s economic conditions on Thursday. In Canada official data on foreign securities purchases will be released.
On Friday November 18th, 2011, Germany will report its official figure on producer price inflation. In Canada official report on consumer price inflation will be released along with index of leading economic indicators.
