Consumer fears knock FTSE
Profit warnings from Clapham House Group and Regents Inns knocked the FTSE. Shares in the operator of the Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Real Greek restaurant chains slumped as evidence mounted that UK consumers were cutting back on spending.
