Halliburton third-quarter profit rises 19 percent
HOUSTON (Reuters) – Oil services company Halliburton Co on Sunday said third-quarter net profit rose 19 percent, helped by a tax benefit, new international contracts and higher activity from its customers.

Oil extends fall
SYDNEY (Reuters) – Oil prices fell on Monday, extending the previous session’s decline on profit taking from record highs, but clung to $88 on violence between Turkish soldiers and Kurdish guerrillas and a record-low dollar.
