Altria profit beats estimates
CHICAGO (Reuters) – Altria Group Inc , parent of the Philip Morris tobacco companies, posted quarterly profit that beat Wall Street estimates, helped by higher prices in the United States and the weaker dollar.

Futures rise on profit optimism
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Stock futures rose on Wednesday as stronger-than-expected profits from such blue chips as Intel Corp , United Technologies Corp and JPMorgan Chase & Co heartened investors about the outlook for earnings.
