Forex Outlook for the Week Ending September 23rd, 2011

Major events that have significant affect on Forex trading for the week ending September 23rd, 2011, are as follows:-

On Monday September 19th, 2011, industry data on house price inflation was published in United Kingdom. Moreover, Bank of England published its quarterly bulletin. In Japan, markets remained closed in observance of a national holiday on Monday.

On Tuesday September 20th, 2011, Reserve Bank of Australia release its minutes of its monetary policy meeting. In euro zone, Germany reported its official data on producer price inflation while the ZEW Center for Economic Research published its reports on economic sentiment in Germany and European region. Switzerland reported its official data on trade balance today.

In Canada, index of leading economic indicators are to be released while United States is to release its official data on building permits and a detailed report on housing starts.

On Wednesday September 21st, 2011, Bank of England will release its minutes of latest monetary policy meeting which will be closely watched to assess the future direction of the monetary policy. The central bank will also release its data on public sector borrowing.  In United States, official report on existing home sales is to be published. Moreover US Federal Reserve is to announce its federal funds rate on Wednesday.

On Thursday, September 22nd, 2011, official data on manufacturing and service sector activity will be reported in euro zone while Germany and France will publish their separate reports on respective sectors. In euro zone, official data on industrial new orders will also be reported.

In Switzerland, ZEW Center for Economic Research will publish a report on Swiss economic sentiment while in United Kingdom data on industrial order expectations will be released.  United States is to report its weekly report on initial jobless claims on Thursday.

On Friday, September 23rd, industry data on mortgage approvals will be published in United Kingdom. ECB President, Jean Claude Trichet will publicly address in United States which will be closely watched to assess the future monetary direction of the single currency bloc.

In Australia, index of leading economic indicators will be reported while in Japan markets will be closed in observance of a national holiday.
