SIV-Plan founders to seek support for fund: report
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Three U.S. banks drawing up a plan to ease the credit markets are expected to ask others in the industry to help out next week, the Wall Street Journal reported in its online edition, citing sources familiar with the situation.

Orascom talked with Vivendi about a tie-up: report
PARIS (Reuters) – Naguib Sawiris, the billionaire head of Egyptian cell phone group Orascom Telecom, has approached Vivendi about a possible telecoms tie-up but the pair failed to agree on price, Les Echos said on Friday.
