Oshkosh profit rises better-than-expected 73 percent
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Specialty truck maker Oshkosh Truck Corp posted a better-than-expected 73 percent rise in quarterly profit on Thursday, boosted by strong sales from the acquisition of JLG Industries Inc.

Oil leaps to $96 high on U.S. inventory drop
SYDNEY (Reuters) – Oil leaped more than 1 percent on Thursday, briefly topping $96 for the first time and extending the previous day’s 5 percent jump after an unexpected sharp fall in U.S. crude stocks and data showing strong economic growth.
