China lists substandard Wal-Mart, Carrefour goods
BEIJING (Reuters) – China has published a blacklist of substandard toy jugs and children’s shoes sold at Wal-Mart stores and drawing pens from French retailer Carrefour in a quality sweep on children’s goods sold at Beijing supermarkets.
NEW YORK (Reuters) – The Dow Jones industrial average notched its biggest percentage gain in four and a half years on Wednesday, after comments by the vice chairman of the Federal Reserve raised expectations for an interest rate cut in December.
