Sony, Kyocera close some San Diego ops due to fires
TOKYO (Reuters) – Japanese tech firms Sony Corp and Kyocera Corp said they have halted some production in the San Diego, California, area because of fires raging in the southern part of the state.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson urged China on Tuesday to let its currency rise faster in value and warned that rising protectionism threatened U.S.-China relations.
