China growth slows but more tightening in store
BEIJING (Reuters) – Chinese economic growth slowed a touch in the third quarter but not by enough to dispel expectations of more interest rate rises and other policy curbs to stave off the risk of overheating.

Bank of America cuts 3,000 jobs
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Bank of America Corp on Wednesday said it planned to eliminate 3,000 jobs, and shook up its corporate and investment bank after a dismal quarter at that unit led to a 32 percent drop in overall profit.
