Forex Weekly Outlook

Significant economic events around the globe that have affect on forex markets for the week ending November 11th, 2011 are as follows:

Today in euro zone, report on investor confidence was released while in Germany, official data on retail sales and industrial production was reported. In United Kingdom, report on house price inflation was published. In Australia report on Jobs advertisements was released today.

Tomorrow on Tuesday, November 8th, meeting of members of Europe’s Economic and Financial Affairs Council will be held. Several reports will be released in United Kingdom which including industry data on retail sales, data on house price balance, report on U.K. manufacturing activity and data on gross domestic product.

In Australia report on trade balance will be released along with data on National Australia Bank business confidence index.

On Wednesday November 9th, 2011, United States will report its data on crude oil stockpiles. Moreover, US Federal Reserve’s Chairman Ben Bernanke will address at Federal Reserve Conference on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. In United Kingdom, official data on trade balance will be reported. In Canada, data on house price inflation will be published.

In Australia, data on Westpac consumer sentiment index will be released along with report on Australian home loans while New Zealand will publish its report on financial stability.

On Thursday, November 10th, 2011, several reports will be published in United States which includes data on jobless claims, trade balance figure, data of import prices and federal budget balance. Canada will also report its figure on country’s trade balance.

In euro zone, official data on French industrial production will be released while later in the day, official monthly bulletin by European Central Bank will be published. In United Kingdom, Bank of England will release its report on asset purchase facility along with announcement of its interest rate.

In Australia, data of inflation expectations along with report on employment change will be published. Later in the day the country will also release its report on unemployment rate. In Japan, official data on core machinery orders will be released.

On Friday November 11th, 2011, preliminary report on US consumer sentiment will be published in United States by University of Michigan while in euro zone, markets in France will be closed in observance of a national holiday.  In United Kingdom, official data on producer price inflation will be released.

New Zealand will report its industry data on house price inflation while in Japan report on tertiary industry activity will be released.
