Emerging independent power producer Wasabi Energy is on track to reach its target of 25mw of Wasabi Energy owned power production by 2015, a half yearly results statement issued by the company has revealed.

In the six months to December 31st, the company stated that development for Kalina Cycle power plants had continued in all key markets and roll-out of regional subsidiaries was underway to focus on deployment of the Kalina Cycle in the Asian region.

John Byrne, Executive Chairman of Wasabi Energy, said: "Wasabi Energy continues to make significant strides in strengthening its position as a leading independent power producer. We are on track to reach our target of 25 MW of Wasabi Energy owned power production by 2015 and sustained growth of 25mw per annum thereafter."
