Brainspark has revealed that since the breakdown in negotiations with Sorgente over the sale of its investment in Mediapolis, it has received a preliminary non-binding offer from an investment fund. The offer comes with more favourable terms than the previous offer from Sorgente. It is also in discussions with another investment fund.

Acta, a company focused on clean energy products, has received two additional orders from M-Field Energy for its renewable energy powered electrolysers. The orders follow the recent shipment of the first fully integrated fuel cell telecom back-up power system incorporating Acta's onboard hydrogen generation for automatic fuel replenishment. The company said it believes that the prompt repeat order is "indicative of the strong commercial potential for its products".

Palmaris, an investment company with a 16.1% holding in Scottish Resources Group, which is the company's sole remaining investment, said it notes the recent negative movement in the company's share price and announced that it has resolved to recommend the cancellation of the company's listing on AIM.
