The support services sector is going well today with the surveillance systems group Petards the best performer after announcing that its CCTV systems will be installed on southeast trains.

Elsewhere in the sector, engineering support services group Redhall is wanted after its full year results. Profits slipped, but 'medium and long term prospects remain extremely good.'

The real estate sector is among today's weakest.

Fallers include Safeland, which posted a loss for the six months to September 30 and said there has been no sign of any improvement in market conditions.
