Robert Wiseman Dairies was established in 1947 on a family farm in East Kilbride, Scotland. Initially its business was focused on delivering milk to the its customers' doorsteps but in the seventies it switched its focus to the wholesale trade. In 1988 it won its first supermarket contract. By 2009 the company was claiming to provide more than one in every four litres of milk consumed in Britain every day. The company has been listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1994.
