Following a clear victory by Republican candidate Mitt Romney over President Barrack Obama in the first presidential debate last week, their running mates will now square off on Thursday night.
Forty-two year old Republic vice-president candidate Paul Ryan will debate with current vice-president Joe Biden.
It will be Ryan's first big opportunity to show why Romney chose him as his running mate. He will be facing a much more experienced opponent.
Joe Biden will have to be aggressive in order to counter Obama's defeat last week after critics labeled him as 'too soft'.
One of the major issues, if not number one, for this presidential campaign is the jobs market. The latest data may give the Democrats a boost in the polls as the unemployment rate fell below 8% in September's report. Romney attacked Obama on jobs. Ryan is an expert in economy.
Another important issue will be foreign policy. This will be Biden's strong point while Ryan has to overcome his lack of experience.
