Pentagon Protection, a window film company, has announced additional contract wins for its window film division, including building overhead glass protection works in the UK and enhanced automotive glass protection for a new client in Nigeria.

The deals are worth a total of £0.684m and are from both existing and new clients within the UK and overseas.

Pentagon's Managing Director, Steve Chambers said: "Once again our teams will be hard at work in some of the most volatile areas in the world, where Pentagon's unique combination of experience, expertise and product knowledge can contribute significantly to the protection of people and property.

"Our protective glazing products, both our security window film and window film attachment systems, are ideally suited to these dangerous times, providing our clients and customers with a fast and effective way to enhance the protection level of their glazing and structural glass.

"As the sales team continues to work on projects in the company's sales pipeline, I expect additional contracts to be won in the near future."

One of the contracts follows on from a recent major contract from the European Commission (EC) for the installation of glazing protection to EC buildings in Brussels by way of a phased programme. Having successfully completed installations at the first building, Pentagon has now begun work on a second building, with these specific works valued at more than €715,000.

The share price leapt 38.24% to 5.88p by 13:55.
