Sinclair Pharma's new chief executive and two non-executive directors all increased their shareholdings after the specialist pharma company's recent fundraising.

Sinclair raised £18.2m - £16m after expenses - at 32p a share to finance the purchase of Flammazine and Flammacerium, which are creams to prevent infections in burns, from Solvay. Sinclair paid €17.5m to Solvay for the two products, which generate annual revenues of more than £9m.

Chief executive Chris Spooner has invested nearly £822,000 in the shares at 32p each. He increased his stake from 3.85m shares to 6.42m shares, which gives him 4% of the company.

Jean-Charles Tschudin invested £60,799 and chairman Grahame Cook invested £32,000. Cook owns 700,000 shares and Tschudin 632,388 shares.

Godalming-based Sinclair is quoted on the Main Market and Euronext Paris. It specialises in dermatology and oral health products.
