Morrisons confirms date of Finance Director's board exit

Supermarket chain Morrison has confirmed that Finance Director Richard Pennycock will stand down from the board on April 2013, and be replaced by Trevor Strain, Group Finance Director Designate, the same day.
The announcement came as Pennycock was unveiled as the non-executive Chairman of online retail The Hut, which is expected to float on the market in the future.
The director's depature from Morrison was announced in June last year.
Morrison's share price was up 1.12% at 261.90p by 11:35 Friday.
