Greece announces first debt auction for 2013

The Greek government has announced its plans for the first debt auction of 2013.
Next Tuesday, January 8th, Athens will sell two billion euros in public debt in two separate auctions.
Specifically, Greece looks to auction off €750m in one month T-bills and an additional €1.25bn in six month debt.
Greece uses these short-term debt issues to roll over payments and they are its sole source of market funding ever since being bailed out on May 2nd, 2010.
