Finsbury Growth Income Trust posts 7.5 per cent net asset value

The net asset value of the Finsbury Growth and Income Trust Fund was 7.5 per cent in the three months to December 31st, according to an interim management statement issued by the company on Thursday.
In the three month period, the company's share price total return was 5.7%.
More recently, in the period following the 31st December through to January 30th, the company reported its net asset value total return was 7.5% and the share price total return was 7.0%.
The trust, which is managed by Nick Train, principally invests in the securities of UK-listed companies with the objective of providing a total return in excess of that of the FTSE All-Share Index.
