FTSE 250 movers: Bovis Homes Group jumps on Liberium view

Bovis Homes Group was the sixth biggest gainer on the FTSE 250 on Tuesday after Liberum Capital moved its target price from 465p to 661p while leaving its hold recomendation unchanged. The stock's share price rose 2.94% to 631p.
The fifth biggest gainer was Spirax-Sarco Engineering, which published an update on its voting rights and capital. This showed that the group's capital consists of 78.1m ordinary shares with voting rights. Last month, the company aqcuire a 30% equity stake in Econorthern Ltd for £1m. The company is not scheduled to announce its annual results for 2012 until March 7th.
Meanwhile, losers on the FTSE 250 included UBM and TalkTalk. UBM, the business publisher and events organiser, reported its receipt of an offer from Electra Partners to purchase its data services business Delta for a total consideration of £160m. Steve Liechi, an analyst at Investec commented that the price paid was low. "The good news is it [Delta] is going, so management can focus on core Events/PRN [PR Newswires], but the bad news is at a low price and cash received is only £100m."
TalkTalk's share price fell 4.50% to 242p mking it the third biggest faller on the FTSE 250 index. In a company announcement, the group posted £415m in total revenues, down from £422m the previous year, driven by an ongoing fall in off-net trading.
