Cinven entity disposes of 7.0m shares in Smurfit Kappa

Cinven SK Feeder GP disposed of its entire shareholding in paper-based packaging company Smurfit Kappa on Tuesday, an announcement issued on Wednesday disclosed.
Prior to the disposal, the entity had owned 7.4m shares in the company.
Smurfit Kappa has a market capitalisation of more than £2.0bn and has operations in Europe, Latin America and North America. On Tuesday, the company announced an offering by one of its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Smurfit Kappa Acquisitions, of 400m euros of euro-denominated senior secured notes due 2020.
Smurfit Kappa's share price has been rising since July 2012 and its 52 week high stood at 10.34 euros as of 10:42 on Wednesday morning.
