Video search engine firm Blinkx has announced a partnership with publishing company Future, a UK-based special interest publisher.
Blinkx will place relevant advertising alongside Future Publishing content on Blinkx's web site and share resulting revenue with its new partner.
"We are delighted to be able to provide this calibre of fun and informative content to enthusiasts in our global audience," said Suranga Chandratillake, founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Blinkx.
The addition of video was described by UK CEO of Future Publishing Mark Wood as "a key strategic driver for our business moving forward."
Blinkx has more than 720 partners and has indexed over 35 million hours of video and audio content to date.
