Ashley House, the healthcare property and facilities development company, announced on Monday the appointment of Richard Darch as Executive Director.

Darch has run health and social care consultancy and infrastructure businesses, including as a director for Healthcare Partnering and Infracare Developments.

"We are delighted to announce Richard's appointment as he brings highly relevant experience and skills to our management team," said Chairman William Wells.

"This is an important first step as we look to ensure the board's composition and structure best suits Ashley House's growth strategy."

The company added that it was likely to reduce the size of its board following a review of its structure which is expected to be completed by the end of April.
