Airbus on track to reach 600 order forecast

Airbus is on track to reach its forecast of achieving 600 plane orders this year, according to its president and chief exec Fabrice Brégier.
The head of the EADS subsidiary confirmed the target in an interview this past weekend with German newspaper Berliner Zeitung.
Just last week Airbus reported that, as of August 31st, it had received 415 orders in the first eight months. In net terms (including cancelations) the total was for 384 units. Airbus had previously predicted that it would achieve between 600 and 650 gross orders for the entire year.
EADS currently trades down 0.78% to €30.0150.
