@UK, a cloud e-commerce marketplace, said it had now signed three new contracts that were delayed from 2012.

They are re expected to deliver revenues of over £500,000 over a three year period, the firm said.

The first saw Serco purchasing an extension of the @UK marketplace for Hertfordshire County Council to allow the council to sell its in-house services to schools and academies.

It is also creating e-commerce marketplaces for Bristol City Council and not-for-profit company JISC Advance.

Ronald Duncan, Chairman of @UK, said: "While it is always difficult to be certain of the timing of public sector contracts, we are confident that the market for our services is expanding and we view the future with confidence".

The firm's shares were trading up 9% by 0930, following the news.
