Significant Factors to Affect Forex Trading

Significant economic events for the week ending April 13th, 2012 which can affect the forex markets are as follows:

On Monday, April 9th, Canada reported its business outlook for future sales while the Bank of Canada published its senior loan officer survey. In Japan, data on current account balance, trade balance, consumer price index, producer price index and bankruptcies was published. Moreover Japan also reported its Eco Watchers Survey for the current economic scenario as well as for future outlook.

Today on Tuesday, Germany reported its wholesale price index, trade balance and current account figure in the euro zone. France released its data on manufacturing production and industrial production while Sentix Investor Confidence index was released for the euro region.

In United States, Federal Reserve’s Chairman, Ben Bernanke addressed at Stone Mountain Conference. United States also reported its data on wholesale inventories, NFIB small business optimism and IBD/TIPP Economic Optimism.

In United Kingdom, data on house prices, and employment confidence was published. Switzerland reported its data on unemployment rate.

Australia reported its data on business confidence and foreign reserves while in Japan, the Bank of Japan announced its interest rate decision.

On Wednesday, April 11th 2012, United States will publish its report on import price index, mortgage applications, monthly budget statement and US Department of Energy will release its inventories data for crude oil, gasoline and distillates. US Federal Reserve is also expected to publish its Beige book on Wednesday. In Canada, data on housing starts will be reported.

United Kingdom will report its data on BRC sales. In Australia, data on consumer confidence index, investment lending and value of loans is expected while Japan will publish its report on machine orders.

On Thursday, euro zone will report its data on industrial production while the European Central Bank will publish its monthly report. United Kingdom is expected to report its official figure on trade balance.

In United States, data on producer price index, trade balance, continuing claims, weekly jobless claims and data on natural gas supplies by EIA will be published. In Canada, data on international merchandize trade and new housing price index will be reported.

Australia will publish its official figure on unemployment rate, participation rate and consumer confidence while Japan will report its data on M3 money supply and domestic corporate goods price index.

On Friday, April 13th, 2012, data on Germany’s consumer price index along with data on Italian CPI will be reported. United Kingdom will publish its data on producer price index on Friday.

In United States, consumer price index will be reported.
